Hi Everyone, Michael, from our group, has spoken to the infamous song writer Jimmy Web--who represents a generation of song writers and performers that has had a tremendous impact upon our popular American culture. Mr. Webb has graciously agreed to come speak to our meetup for a very reasonable honorarium. Bottom line, we need to sign up at least 20 people at $20 to cover the costs. If there are any of you who do not know Jimmy Webb, just look him up on Wikipedia. He has written music for Diana Ross, Johnny Rivers, The Fifth Dimension, Glen Campbell, Richard Harris, Sinatra, The Four Tops, Streisand, Roberta Flack, Tom Jones, Dionne Warwick, Art Garfunkel, Joe Cocker, Nancy Wilson, Cher, Donna Summer, Bob Dylan, Tanya Tucker, Arlo Guthrie, Linda Ronstadt, John Denver, Kenny Rogers, Sheena Easton, Carlie Simon, the list goes on.
