FEBRUARY CINTI COMPOSERS MEETUP: OOPS!

I guess I sprang the February Composers Meetup on everybody with just a little too little notice (what was it, about 10 days' notice?). Sorry about that.

So, just to give it plenty of time this time, I'm announcing that the next Cinti Composers meetup will be on Wednesday, March 2, at 7:00pm, still at Uptown Coffee in West Chester.

This is by no means a done deal, in the sense that the day that we meet is still open to discussion, the place that we meet is still negotiable -- even the time can be shifted to suit the preferences of our members!

So, please, if you are reading this, you are a valuable member of our group! I'd like to know YOUR preferences as to day, location, and time for future meetups! Don't be shy; you can drop me an e-mail with your suggestions, or you can go to our handy-dandy poll (it's anonymous, even!) to vote for your preferences at:

http://composers.meet...

Once we get all this prep work out of the way and finally decide on what works best for the greatest number of members, we can stick to just music, music, and music -- and don't forget FUN!

Hope to hear from YOU soon with YOUR meetup preferences!

Remember that the Cinti Composers Meetup group meets together with three other music meetup groups, to include more music more of the time!

WELCOME TO OUR NEWEST MEMBERS!

Although the Composers Meetup group itself did not get any new members, two of its 'sister' groups that share the Meetup with it did! Please welcome:

dale a. bodmer (buddhablue) who joined us on January 27, 2005.

"is this group still active. i'm in mason, and thought it might be good to get together. i play guitar, some banjo, mandolin, stee, dobro. strong believer that the fur peace ranch is the coolest place on the planet."

Rob Langenderfer (robltrekker) who joined us on January 27, 2005.

"I'm Rob, and I really enjoy Tom Smith's Babylon 5 filks. My favorite music groups are the Beatles and Bon Jovi, and I also enjoy Elton John and Billy Joel as individual performers. Simon and Garfunkel and Renee and Ray are great for folk music."

Welcome to both our new members!

MARCH CINTI COMPOSERS MEETUP: ONCE MORE WITH FEELING!

The next Composers meetup is scheduled for Wednesday, March 2, at 7pm at Uptown Coffee.

Please bring your voices, songs, and instruments and join the jam! Discussions on music writing/performing also welcome.
